FAQsHere is a list of the most frequently asked questions about First Baptist Snellville.
When are your services?
Our Celebration Worship Service blends styles of music together featuring our Celebration Choir and Orchestra. Our Celebration Worship Service meets in the Worship Center at 9:30am and 11:00am. Both services are identical. We recommend you arrive approximately 30 minutes before the service so you won’t feel rushed and have time to visit.
We also meet Sunday Evening at 6:00pm for a Celebration-style service and every Wednesday night for various adult, student, and children's ministry programs.
What is a Sunday service like?
Our weekend service is designed to help people right where they are. We sing relevant songs that encourage wholehearted worship. Inspiring messages help you learn more about God in a practical way, whether you’re still searching for a relationship with God or know Him well.
Where is First Baptist Snellville located?
We are located at 2400 Main Street East, Snellville, GA 30078. For a detailed map and directions, click here.
What can I expect on my first visit?
From the moment you pull into the parking lot, you’ll be made to feel at home. Our terrific parking volunteers will direct you as you enter the campus. Then, our amazing greeting team will be poised and ready to hand you our information-filled worship guide, give directions or answer any questions you may have. If you have children, you can check them in and then be personally escorted with them to their room. As you enter the worship center, our ushers will welcome you.
What about my children?
At First Baptist Snellville the children have it made! They laugh, play, and enjoy a snack as they are loved by teaches who model God’s character. Toddlers and preschoolers experience kid-appropriate teaching and activities. You can enjoy the weekend service knowing that your children will have a wonderful experience.
Children have a fun and exciting time where everyone learns about God. Each child is energetically welcomed and loved. When teaching children, we follow two important principles. First, we know kids would rather participate than watch. Second, when learning is fun and age-relevant, children will naturally apply God’s principles to their lives.
What do you have for middle school and senior high students?
“Route 56” is the place for your 5th and 6th graders and “United for More” is for middle school and high school students. They are high-energy and filled with popular music, relevant messages, and time to build relationships with other students. Middle school and senior high groups meet separately to allow age-appropriate connectivity and teaching. Feeling welcome and accepted, students enjoy their time and want to come back with their friends. They also meet on Sunday mornings in small guy or girl groups broken down by grade.
What does your church believe?
FBCS believes the Bible is God’s clear message to us; we can trust it to find answers for our life.
Will I have to say something, sign a form, or be asked to give?
We won’t ask you to give a dime. You won’t have to wear a name badge, stand up, or be singled out in any way. Check us out for as long as you like to see what’s going on around First Baptist Snellville. When you would like more information or would like to become a part of FBCS, fill our Guest Registration Card in the service and we will get information to you.
