Give Online

FBCS encourages its members and regular attenders to be a part of the ministry of the church by giving frequently and faithfully. One way that you can do this is through online giving. Our online giving system accepts Debit Cards (those that display the VISA or MasterCard emblem on the card) and electronic checks.

When giving to FBCS, please consider...

Your tithe is what God requires of your individual income. Scripture says this amount should be 10%. Your tithe goes to the operating budget of the church, which includes ministries supported by the church.
An offering is a gift to the Lord above and beyond your tithe. Many at FBCS give a tithe and also give an offering to other areas of church ministries.

Giving is an act of worship. True worship begins when you realize that everything you have (your time, talents, possessions, etc.) belongs to God.
“...and this stone that I have set up as a pillar will be God's house, and of all that you give me I will give you a tenth." Gen 28:22 (NIV)

1) What should my attitude be? God wants you to be cheerful (full of good spirits; ungrudging)

"Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver." 2 Corinthians 9:7

2) What is my responsibility? God calls you to be His good steward (one entrusted with another’s wealth).

"Guard the good deposit that was entrusted to you -- guard it with the help of the Holy Spirit who lives in us." 2 Timothy 1:14

3) Where should my financial priorities be? God’s provision to you is a treasure (something of great wealth or value) to be used for His purposes.

“Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also." Matthew 6:19-21

For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift
of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.

EPHESIANS 2:8-9
