Scott feels that one of the greatest ways to show the love of Jesus Christ is through building relationships. It was as a student in his hometown student ministry that he surrendered his life to Christ and accepted the call into ministry. Scott spent his college summers from 2007-2010, serving God in Maine where he was a children’s camp leader at South Coast Community Church. In 2011 he felt God's calling to move to Maine where he helped in many aspects at South Coast Community Church, including Student Ministry, where he had the privilege of working previously.
In 2010 Scott met his future wife, Ashley, while on the mission field in Maine. They married the following year. Ashley also serves on the student staff as the Student Ministries Girls Director. They were married here at FBCS and were so excited to accept the call to serve on staff at FBCS in 2012.
Scott has a Bachelors of Arts in Religion and Ministry from Luther Rice Seminary and is currently pursuing his Masters of Arts in Christian Studies.
Scott LOVES all New England Sport Teams and the Tennessee Vols.
“Rocky Top, You’ll always be, home sweet home to me!!!”
Besides sports, Scott enjoys being a big kid with his students, spending time with his family, Disney, and Chick-Fil-A!
